Day 1: Transfer to Kibale forest National Park

After breakfast, join your guide/driver for a scenic drive to Kibale forest National Park, southwards fort portal. Kibale forest  is blessed with a combination of exciting accommodation facility, easy access, wonderful scenery and a remarkable variety of activities.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking kibale-park

Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest is the most popular activity out of Kanyanchu. After your breakfast, head to the briefing point before the tracking commences. Your guides know better where to find your hosts and will provide you a wide overview about the chimpanzees, enjoy an hour with your hosts, lookout for other forest residents among which are colobus monkeys, l’hoest’s monkeys , birds and then trail back to start point.

Day 3: Transfer to the Mahoma falls & proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Enjoy your morning breakfast today, on your way to Queen Elizabeth National, you can also visit the Mahoma falls, and enjoy a great view of the three crater lakes from one point. There after transfer to Kasese

Day 4:  Game viewing drive and Launch cruisequeen-elizabeth-defassa-waterbuck

After breakfast, drive to the Kasenyi plains, the  most visited game viewing circuit in the park. the park supports large herds of  elephants, buffaloes, topis, kobs, spotted hyenas, bushbucks, waterbucks and wide variety of birds. After your lunch proceed for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel. This cruise rewards you with great views of the water animals like the hippos, crocodiles and various birds among which are the beautiful pelicans.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park

After your hearty breakfast, drive through the Ishasha sector famous for the tree climbing lions and proceed to the park for your dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Gorilla tracking/ trekking in Bwindi Forest gorilla-rwanda

The Bwindi forest is regarded as one of the most biologically diverse rain forests in Africa famous for having over half of the last surviving Mountain gorillas in the world.  After an early breakfast, proceed to the staging point for gorilla tracking at the UWA head quarters/offices for a briefing about the tracking conduct. Make it a point to be there by 07:30 am with your packed lunch, enough drinking water and all the tracking gear you need.  Gorilla tracking may last  from three to five hours, depending on the proximity of the gorillas and how easy they are located so be prepared for the adventure of a life time.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National park

Today, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park after your breakfast. This park is an underrated gem of a park, dominated by the fresh waters of Lake Mburo with forested shores that provide home to a number of birds. Enjoy an after noon boat ride on Lake Mburo. The boat trip leaves from the jetty at the main campsite 1 km from Rwonyo camp offering  good sighting of the hippos, crocodile, buffalos, waterbucks and bush bucks. Among the water birds are the pied kingfishers, various egrets, African fish eagle, marabou stork and so many more.

Day 8: Morning Game drive & transfer to Kampala.

Enjoy an early morning game drive tracking down Zebras,  Impalas and topis , Lake mburo boasts of an incredible record of Zebras and impalas. After the game drive, proceed back to the lodge to freshen up before transfer back to Kampala
